Fall Vibes at Keel Farms

Right down the street in Plant City, fall is sweeping in style. If your happy place smells like cinnamon, pumpkins, and a hint of apple cider, same. Keel Farms just flipped to full fall mode with Harvest Days every Saturday and Sunday in October, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, parking is $10, and it’s family-friendly and dog-friendly. No tickets needed.
What you’ll find: a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, camel rides, a petting zoo, live music, and more than 40 local vendors and food trucks, plus seasonal sips like pumpkin-spice wine and apple-pie cider. It’s Florida fall, which means shorts, sunglasses, and lots of photos under the oaks.
Grab your pumpkins, let the kids run wild, and call it the perfect October weekend. We’ll see you there.

The Cyber Wave is Nearing Brandon

Tampa’s tech crowd is launching CyberBay, a new cybersecurity summit led by ConnectWise founder Arnie Bellini with Cyber Florida at USF and USF’s new Bellini College of AI, Cybersecurity & Computing. The main event is slated for Oct. 13–15 at Tampa Marriott Water Street and aims to pull together industry, military, government, and academia to supercharge the region’s cyber game. Think less spooky hackers, more real-world fixes, and a bigger local talent pipeline.
For Brandon, that means internships and jobs close to home as USF scales up, stronger defenses for small businesses as training gets easier to find, and fresh opportunities for local IT shops and vendors as partners land right in our backyard. Short version: Tampa Bay is staking a claim in cyber, and Brandon stands to benefit.

Join ECHO’s Empower Breakfast on Wednesday, Oct 15, 8 to 9 a.m. at The Regent, 6437 Watson Rd, Riverview. One hour, free breakfast, quick impact stories, and a simple way to help local families with food, clothing, and stability programs. Grab a seat and bring a friend.
